Couple of 1965 Stratocaster Refins (as in they were originally refinished when I got em :-)) made in ongoing collaboration with Emerald City Guitars
I think both of these are sold, but we are going to continue making them as unique pieces that would be candidates pop up during Trevor’s guitar safari adventures. Those guys are a great shop and TBoone is a blast to work with.
We strip em down to wood, use a white sealer and then all nitrocellulose lacquer (outside of the acrylics used in the artwork) for the striping and clear-coat. I generally replace any screws or strap buttons or stuff like that with period correct parts if they are missing and then they ship out in a Calton rectangle Strat case.
